‎Dr. Divine Igwe Impact Foundation is a non-governmental organization that focuses on making a significant difference across communities through medical and surgical interventions, education support, sports development, and other impactful initiatives.

‎The official launch of the Foundation took place on November 27, 2025, at CPS Okposi Umuoghara Ezza North, Ebonyi State. The event was a grand gathering of notable personalities, with Dr. Divine Okemefuna Igwe, the CEO of DDIIF and Executive Secretary of Ebonyi State Health Insurance Agency, unveiling the foundation.

‎During the launch, Dr. Divine Igwe emphasized the importance of elevating talents rather than just applauding them, highlighting the foundation’s commitment to making a positive impact in the lives of people.

‎Similarly, the National President of the Foundation, Dr. Ibiam Azu, gave a detailed explanation of the achievements of the Foundation, which include: free medical and surgical interventions, and awarding scholarships to over 18 students at different levels of education, including a postgraduate student.

‎As part of the event, the foundation empowered 13 students with ₦200,000 in educational support. The launch also featured the official kick-off of Ezza North football tournament, showcasing the foundation’s interest in promoting unity sports and youth development.

‎The Chairman of the occasion, Chief Oguzor Offia Nwali, commended Dr. Divine Okemefuna Igwe for the far-reaching impacts he is making in the lives of people through the foundation. He gave a special thanks to the Ebonyi State Governor, Rt Hon Bldr Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, whom he described as a builder of men and projects, for his “eagle eye” through which he saw the qualities of Dr. Divine and picked him into his government.

‎Also, the Chief Launcher of the foundation, Rt Hon Chukwu Victor Uzoma, thanked the foundation for bringing home the dividends of the good governance of Bldr Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, anchored on the people’s charter of need, and enjoined other employees of the Ebonyi State Government to emulate the CEO of DDIIF and impact people around them.

‎The Executive Chairman of Ezza North Local Government Council, Chief Moses Ogodali Nome, appreciated Dr. Divine for thinking home, especially for sponsoring a football tournament that cut across the eleven wards of Ezza North, and for supporting the educational careers of students selected from all wards of Ezza North.‎

‎Other guests in the program, including Prof Hillary Ezeh, Prof Humphrey Nwobashi, High Chief Ignatius Izuchukwu Itumo, Chief Patrick Igwe, Dr Onwe, Rev Dr Paul Odu, and Amb Morris Eguji, amongst others, gave positive nods to DDIIF and the CEO, Dr Divine Okemefuna Igwe, and wished him and his foundation a continued success
